Established in 2018, Craig’s Barbershop is committed to offering high-quality, value-for-money haircuts in a relaxed, modern-themed salon, offering a hair cutting service for all lengths, genders, and sexualities. With a personal and warm hair cutting experience with a queer, trans, neuro-diverse, and additional needs-friendly attitude.

​Craig Henderson is a registered senior barber with the hair council, he began his hairdressing career as a 17-year-old working in a unisex hair salon in Bolton town center. He has always had a passion for hair and wanted to create a personal experience for clients at his own shop.
​
He realized that his clients were looking for an enjoyable and relaxing service, in a comfortable and friendly environment, and didn't want to pay over the odds for the expertise.

In 2018, Craig opened his own shop in Tonge Moor, Bolton, offering a completely non-judgemental, yet enjoyable experience the clients had been looking for.

Craig’s Barbershop is a family business that is owned and managed by Craig Henderson and his partner, Sarah Timmins. Craig has more than 15 years of experience as a professional barber and hairdresser. He is the personal barber/hairdresser to a handful of professional sporting figures and musicians. Sarah has a beauty and holistic background and also created our sister company Pixi & Crystals.

Craig’s Barber Shop is affiliated with the mental well-being charity, The Lions Barber Collective. As a Lions Barber, he has been trained to create a safe space for his clients to feel comfortable talking about their mental health. In this way, he aims to support the community where appropriate and help reduce the stigma around talking about mental health.
