There are a huge selection of hair-based competitions both in UK and Worldwide giving you the opportunity to make a name for yourself, and well known for your skills and you could attract attention of big brands for them you be a educator or ambassador for them.


8. When should I Start in the Industry


It’s never too late to train in this industry or develop your skills. There endless amount of courses available from community colleges to private training academy but becareful you can't be a hair professional overnight it take around two years before you get decent understanding of hair and how it behaves


9. You’ll Always Have a Career


The bottom line is hair will always grow unless your folically challenged like me, people will always need to have their hair cut or coloured regardless of the economic situation. Even if you end up cutting hair in your kitchen, you can still make monies.


10. You Can Help


When you get into this industry, expect to be the poor man therapist, not only you make some incredible humans look and feel their best! You have the ability to completely change how someone feels about themselves and give them confidence, as they tell you things that maybe sad or happy but you be ready for them conversations and be ready listen.
